Tutorial Five Videos about Riding for the Disabled

This video clip is showing how there can be a special relationship between a person and a horse. It is showing various disciplines of horse riding how it is also possible for disabled people to participate in horse riding just like everybody else. There is also one lady with no arms but is putting on bridle with her feet. This is showing how it is possible to adapt and still independent. This video clip is about American women called Cathy Strobel who had an accident riding and ended up in a wheelchair for six weeks. She originally was planning training horses to become hunters, jumpers and dressage horses. She found it very therapeutic to start riding after her accident therefore came up with the idea of having a riding school for people with disabilities so they too could benefit theoretically. This video is showing the how riding for the disabled is done in the community. This short documentary produced by Jennifer Lynn Weisensel in the summer of 2010 tells the story of Samantha Rozinsky, a young Equest rider with Down syndrome. Viewers will meet Sam and her family and learn how first hippotherapy, and now therapeutic sports riding, is helping Sam. This video is it is showing how Occupational Therapy and riding for the disabled have benefits for the person. This video is about two girls who going to compete at the Special Olympics. This video shows how modifying the tasks of equestrian disabled people still have the same opportunities like everyone else. By going to the Special Olympics is as highly regarded as the Olympics.
